The first of these, eating, is necessity. But people carry it so far that they become infatuated with taste and addicted to eating. At the present time there is evidence of a general increase of interest in food. The rate of increase of newspaper advertisements promoting the art of eating would lead one to conclude that not a few people are obsessed with eating and worship food. These born eaters form the first group.
